Final Art for 75th Anniversary of "The Yearling"

I am definitely proud of my recent work for the Marjorie Rawling's Foundation and will go as far to say that I think this is some of my best work to date. It's also the first work I can say that working digital was actually a better way to go then traditional. The line work is smoother and the detail and color seems more crisp.

Still...I love working in the old ways. :-)

Enjoy!

Guess "who"?

This was a fun little project to work on. I recently just got into Doctor Who and just haven't been able to get enough of it! I am particularly a fan of the David Tennant years and really felt that he was the most tragic of the doctors.

This marks my first piece of fan art for the series and I did the whole thing in little under 6 hours. I'm also proud to say this is another bit of digital art using nothing but my Cintiq 21UX  all by itself! I love that thing!

Hope you enjoy, post your thoughts if you like! I'd love to hear some feedback!

"The Yearling" Promotional Art (sketch)

I was recently given the distinct honor to illustrate the art for the 75th Anniversary of "The Yearling" by the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Foundation. The artwork will be used on posters, t-shirts, brochures and other promotional material! Below is the final sketch art before preparations for inking and then coloring. Enjoy!
